Our Mission Statement
Saint Thomas Aquinas Teachers' Local No. 45 was formed on July 1, 2014.
We are a Local of Catholic Educators teaching students in 12 schools in STAR Catholic School District located in:
- Leduc (Christ The King, Father Leduc, Notre Dame, St. Benedict and STAR Outreach)
- Beaumont (Academie Saint Andre Academy and Mother D'Youville)
- Drayton Valley (Holy Trinity Academy and St. Anthony)
- Wetaskiwin (Sacred Heart)
- Ponoka (St. Augustine)
- Lacombe (Father Lacombe)
- teachers who work in STAR Catholic Central Office as Directors and Learning Coaches
Our Local has approximately 250 teachers and 100 Substitute Teachers teaching over 4000 students within our school district.
